Crow species are known to harass the birds much bigger than their size when then comes in their territories. This behaviour is called mobbing. This mobbing behaviour consists of dive bombing, squawking and defecating on the predator. However this behaviour and the behaviour of the bald eagle is unexplained.
The photo of a crow landing and riding on an eagle is taken by California based bird photographer Phoo chan, which is a one in a million chance view. In this photograph the crows lands on eagle during flight and eagle doesn't seems to mind a free rider on its back. This photo was taken by the photographer in a very rare and brief moments of few seconds. It can be said that the crow had his once in a lifetime ride of such a prestigious predator.
